Setting up the metered usage

Please follow these steps to set up the metered usage:

1. First you have to set up custom fields
   • Product
     
     • In the billwerk app, navigate to Settings > CustomFields in order to create the custom field for the Product tab.
     • Then please fill in those credentials accordingly:
       | key - BillSwanComponentExtId | Read & Write |
       
   • Contract
     1. Now let us navigate again to Settings > CustomFields in order to create the custom field for the Contract tab.
     2. Please fill in those credentials accordingly:
        | key - SwanBilledUntil | Read |
2. At this point, we have to create the Component for metered usage.
   
   1. Please go to Products and open the Components tab, then select Add Component.
      
      • Being there, you can fill in these credentials:
        | ExternalId = BillSwanComponentExtId | Type = Metered | Value Added Tax = Chargeback Fee | show in self-service = checked, include in interim billing = checked |Custom field = {empty} |
3. Afterwards, please edit the Swan plan and add the metered usage component.
   
   • For doing so, go to Products and open the Plans tab, then click on the Edit icon in your Swan plan.
     
     
     • Please fill in these credentials:
       | BillSwanComponentExtId = BillSwanComponentExtId |
